Calling cupid fans! We’ve just SLASHED TICKET PRICES on our Love Rocks! Family Dance Party! Buy tickets BEFORE noon on Friday for just $16/each (kids under 2 visit for free). Your loves will make charming share-to-care friendship bracelets and candy love trains to share with their favorite Valentines. Plus, dance to lovely family-friendly music, enjoy face-painting and more. Food & beverages included. Purchase tickets for the event, being held Saturday, Feb 4 from 6-9 PM. We also offer Port Discovery parking at a discounted rate for patrons!

Join us for fun, educational activities the entire family can enjoy. Make an art project, enjoy pop-up science projects, listen to music with Mr. Norman, take part in kid-friendly yoga with Life on Yoga Mountain, and climb aboard the new Thomas & Friends™: Explore the Rails! Exhibit! Also take part in an interactive version of our limited-time only play The Little Engine that Could by Watty Piper, performed at Port Discovery with special permission from Penguin Random House.
Chinese New Years Celebration

Celebrate the Chinese New Year and commemorate the year of the Rooster at Port Discovery on February 4th. Learn, experience and participate traditions surrounding the Chinese New Year celebration, including the Chinese Lion Dance (complete with a paper mache lion, drums, and cymbals), traditional dances from the Gina Ling Dancers, festive rooster and dragon-themed art projects, Happy Fortunes, and Chinese New Year Lucky Charms. Also learn about Calligraphy and Chopstick Training, and enjoy a live petting zoo from Wildlife Adventures.

Join Port Discovery for a fun-filled Saturday dedicated to children five and under. Take part in yoga for families with Magical Mats. Sing and dance along with entertaining stories and music from the Kindersinger. Participate in family art projects, and get festive with on face painting fun. Also take part in an interactive version of our limited-time only play The Little Engine that Could by Watty Piper, performed at Port Discovery with special permission from Penguin Random House.

Enjoy President’s Day Weekend with fun, indoor family-friendly activities that will educate and entertain. On Saturday, join Port Discovery for Thomas & FriendsTM Day at Port Discovery. Make Thomas the TrainTM magnets, abstract train artwork, train whistles and train totes. On Sunday, join us for art projects, Mother Goose on the Loose, Jingle Jangle Music Time, and more! On Monday, Celebrate President’s Day with tunes from DJ Holly, take part in an interactive story time featuring singing, dancing and finger plays, get musical during Jingle Jangle Music Time and in our hands-on Percussion Garden.

All Aboard! Everyone’s favorite blue engine has arrived at Port Discovery Children’s The limited-time only Thomas & Friends(TM): Explore the Rails! exhibit will be at Port Discovery until May 7th. Climb aboard Thomas’ cab, fix wobbly wheels, pull levers, dress as a train conductor and more!
Featuring the favorite engines and destinations from Thomas & Friends™, the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) focused exhibit seeks to engage children, ages 2 through 7 years, in foundational skills that foster STEM literacy through playful learning experiences. The exhibit encourages making comparisons, experimenting to solve problems using a variety of methods and tools, and thinking creatively.
