Stop acting silly? Not in this exhibit! Learn about science through laughter and physical comedy in the limited-time KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature! exhibit. Learn how to juggle, turn spoons into catapults, create photo illusions, engineer fast-moving paper airplanes, and more in this silly, interactive exhibit! KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature! is based on the KLUTZ® Encyclopedia of Immaturity Vol. 1 and 2 and produced by the Children’s Museum of Houston in partnership with KLUTZ®.

It’s time for adventure when preschoolers and their families come to explore Nickelodeon’s Dora and Diego—Let’s Explore! This interactive exhibit takes visitors on an active adventure in the enchanting world of Dora the Explorer, her animal-rescuing cousin Diego, and their friends. Explore Isa’s Flowery Garden, help Tico gather nuts, join the Pirate Piggies’ crew to uncover pirate treasure, and help baby animals in the Rainforest Maze. Ready? Let’s go! ¡Vámonos!

Miss Perception’s Mysteries Revealed Day

In early 2018, we’ll reveal what the future of learning and play at the Museum will look like with the opening of an exhibit and program preview area. In order to make way for this engaging space, the endearing Miss Perception’s exhibit will close. Join us as we reveal the mysteries of Miss Perceptions and declare “Case Closed” on Mysteries Revealed Day when the exhibit closes to the public for good on September 17th.

We’re Open this September for Fun and Learning!
During the month of September, we modify our hours so that staff can attend to large maintenance and deep cleaning projects that are only possibly when the Museum is closed. Beginning September 5th, Port Discovery will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only through the end of the month. Beginning in October, Port Discovery will be open Tuesday through Sundays until Memorial Day (open on select Mondays for holidays and school breaks). We look forward to seeing you in the Museum for interactive learning and fun events throughout the fall months!
