Target $2 Family Fun Night
Friday, February 17 | 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. | $2 Admission
Enjoy a sweet deal right around Valentine’s Day! Bring your sweeties to Port Discovery for Target $2 Family Fun Night from 4PM to 8PM on Friday, February 17th and get in for just $2 per person. Come play and learn while exploring Port Discovery’s three floors of interactive exhibits – including the new, limited-time only Thomas & Friends(TM): Explore the Rails! exhibit, and the always popular KidWorks, Kick It Up, Tiny’s Diner, and Miss Perception’s Mystery House exhibits! This event is generously sponsored by Target(R), allowing visitors to get in for just $2 each (that’s a discount of more than $12 a person off of Port Discovery’s normal admission!).

Enjoy President’s Day Weekend with fun, indoor family-friendly activities that will educate and entertain. On Saturday, join Port Discovery for Thomas & FriendsTM Day at Port Discovery. Make Thomas the TrainTM magnets, abstract train artwork, train whistles and train totes. On Sunday, join us for art projects, Mother Goose on the Loose, Jingle Jangle Music Time, and more! On Monday, Celebrate President’s Day with tunes from DJ Holly, take part in an interactive story time featuring singing, dancing and finger plays, get musical during Jingle Jangle Music Time and in our hands-on Percussion Garden.

In honor of Black History Month, join many of the city’s top cultural attractions – including Port Discovery – at the Baltimore Visitors Center for an afternoon of FREE interactive family-friendly activities, food samplings and live entertainment. Baltimore’s Legends & Legacies Jubilee invites everyone to embrace the city’s rich African American heritage and culture while encouraging inclusivity and community engagement on February 18th.

Exercise your mind and body at Port Discovery’s Healthy First Saturday event! Learn about health and wellness with the UMBC Health Fair. Learn about asthma with hands on activities from the Johns Hopkins University Asthma Study. Take part in yoga for kids, get Kinderfit! with the Kindersinger, and visit with service dogs from FIDOS for Freedom, enjoy fun family art projects, and more!

Have you checked out the new Thomas & Friends(TM): Explore the Rails! Exhibit at Port Discovery yet? Don’t miss this limited-time only exhibit, open at Port Discovery until May 7th. Thomas & Friends(TM) fans can climb aboard Thomas’ cab, fix wobbly wheels, pull levers, dress as a train conductor and more. Don’t miss the huge train table where you can build train tracks and play with friends new and old. This hands-on exhibit lets children’s imaginations go wild!
Featuring the favorite engines and destinations from Thomas & Friends™, the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) focused exhibit seeks to engage children, ages 2 through 7 years, in foundational skills that foster STEM literacy through playful learning experiences. The exhibit encourages making comparisons, experimenting to solve problems using a variety of methods and tools, and thinking creatively.
