Enjoy all the fun of Port Discovery for more than $12 off! Join Port Discovery for Target Family Fun Night on Friday, April 21 and pay only $2 admission from 4 to 8 pm thanks to our generous sponsor, Target®! Make family art projects, enjoy our interactive Circle Time, work on your literacy skills with reading projects, take part in the interactive Money Game, and more! Plus, the MD SPCA will be on hand to teach about animal safety, and you could even meet a new furry best friend! This is a family fun night that you won’t want to miss!

 

Countdown to Kindergarten

Join Port Discovery for a full day of fun and learning designed to help prepare parents and caregivers to successfully ready their emerging kindergartners for school! Countdown to Kindergarten features activities and programs focused on school readiness from Port Discovery and other family and educational organizations, including the Enoch Pratt Free Library, Baltimore Head Start, the DRU Judy Center, and more!

Activities include interactive play performances, pop-up science projects, art projects, a live petting zoo from Wildlife Adventures, and music and dancing with both the Kindersinger and Mr. Norman. This program is also open to children who are not entering kindergarten.

Learn about animals and nature with playful, fun and free programming from Port Discovery at the Robinson Nature Center on April 23, May 7 and May 21! Using movement, games, science and interactive theater play, children three and up will explore our wild planet, creatures of the night and more! Programs are held at 1 & 2PM and are free with Robinson pass or daily admission to the nature center.

On this STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) focused exhibit, children can climb aboard Thomas’ cab, fix wobbly wheels, pull levers, dress as a train conductor and more. Don’t miss the huge train table where you can build train tracks and play with friends new and old!

Join Port Discovery for Discovery Days, featuring a fun filled week of programs for children of all ages and capabilities! Every year, Port Discovery sets aside days for children with special needs and their caretakers as part of the museum’s dedication to inclusive learning. Activities are designed for children with special needs, but all children are encouraged to join this fun-filled week!

Littles’ Day

Gather the little ones and bring them to Port Discovery for a day designed especially for children 5 and younger! Taking part in yoga for kids and sing along with the Kindersinger! Become a star in the limited-time-only play The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper, performed with permission from Penguin Random House, where children help write and put on the show! Plus much more family fun activities you won’t want to miss!
