The books have landed and the Baltimore Book Festival has hit the Inner Harbor!
Come down and check out the 20th Anniversary of the Baltimore Book Festival and see all the great things the Inner Harbor has to offer. From sightseeing at local attractions to happy hour at the local hot spots to nightly concerts at Power Plant Live there is always something to do!
Friday starts out the festival with lots of events all day long. When you are ready for a lunch break head on over to Joe Squared for the best pizza in the harbor, my favorite is their crab pizza! Later that evening head out for some fun and check out Howl at the Moon and Leinekugel’s Beer Garden, located in Power Plant Live!. Their Friday Night Drink Specials make them great spots to grab a drink and hang out with some friends. Power Plant Live! presents G. Love & Special Sauce as part of their Friday Night Live! Summer Concert Series starting at 8:30pm. Also Rams Head Live presents Sturgill Simpson on his Living the Dream Tour starting at 8pm.
On Saturday start the day out at Miss Shirley’s Café, located at 750 E. Pratt Street. Their September Specials are to die for! After breakfast stroll over to the Top of the World Observation Level where they are offering free admission from 10AM – 7PM for folks to get an amazing 360-degree panoramic view of Baltimore while checking out the artwork of local Baltimore illustrator, author and puppeteer Kevin Sherry. In the afternoon Rally in the Alley X, Baltimore’s premiere outdoor music festival, will be at Power Plant Live! from 11am – 4pm. Then round out your evening with a show! A Wild Evening with Halestorm will be playing at the Pier Six Pavilion and KIX will be rocking it at Rams Head Live.
Sunday in Baltimore of course brings football! The Baltimore Ravens will be in town playing the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium at 1pm if you fancy some football action. Later that evening you can mellow down at Rams Head Live as they present An Evening with Buddy Guy.
