This Saturday, March 6: Matisse Paper Cut-out Collages
Embark on an exciting virtual journey through the world of art! Join professional teaching artist Kelsey Joyce for an online class focused on how French Artist Henri Matisse used paper and scissors to create his own unique style of art.
We will be creating our own paper collages inspired by Matisse’s and his technique of using “Scissors as Paintbrush”. Kiddos will also learn about organic and geometric shapes, positive and negative space, and how to create their own stories through composition.
