Port Discovery Children’s Museum
All summer long, Port Discovery has late hours – open until 7 p.m. – on Fridays, and admission from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. is just $15.
Plus, throughout the summer, the museum will host fun and informative events like Play It Safe on June 22, when families have the opportunity to meet experts in childhood safety, and National Ice Cream Day on July 20, when there will be free ice cream samples available and ice cream-themed activities.

Fleet Week
Maryland Fleet Week is back this June, bringing ships, flyovers and lots of fun to the Inner Harbor from June 12-18.
A lot happens during Fleet Week – and much of it is centered around the Inner Harbor, including flyovers from both modern and historic aircrafts and free public tours of US Navy, Coast Guard and Army Corps of Engineers vessels, along with traditional sailing and working ships.
Fleet Week officially kicks off with a welcome ceremony at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater at 4 p.m. on June 12. Ships will start arriving in the Harbor on June 12 and will be open for tours starting on June 13.
There will also be a STEM & History Education Tent located at Pier 1 on Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16, plus bands, fun activities and even a kids’ parade around the Inner Harbor Promenade on Saturday, June 15.

Harborplace Summer Sunday Concerts
Throughout the summer, Harborplace is the place to be on Sunday evenings. Each week, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Harborplace will come alive with a fun free concert.
On June 16, local favorites the Kelly Bell Band will perform. Later in the summer, the event features acts like Fire Kite Party, Vertigo Red, the Ronny Smith Jazz Band, and Misspent Youth.

Baltimore by Baltimore
Throughout the summer and early fall, Baltimore creatives gather for five daylong “Music & Makers” festivals, called Baltimore by Baltimore, at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. Upcoming dates include July 6, August 10, September 7 and October 5.
Each festival features a slightly different lineup of artists and makers, plus food trucks and vendors that show off the best of Baltimore’s creative community.

National Aquarium
Summertime is an ideal time to check out the National Aquarium – it’s especially fun on super hot days when the Aquarium feels extra cool.
Throughout the summer, the Aquarium offers great deals, like half-price Friday nights and Maryland Mornings, when Maryland residents can visit before noon on weekdays at a discount.
