This September, downtown Baltimore is the place to be for maritime history buffs, families in search of fun activities, and anyone who loves the water. Fleet Week rolls – and sails and swoops – into Baltimore this October, taking over the Inner Harbor and other surrounding areas from October 3-9. The week is jam-packed with great events, from breathtaking air shows to educational ship tours to some entertaining performances from musical and theatric groups. While it’s worth checking out as many of the exhibitions and performances as possible, it might not be possible to check out absolutely everything. Hard or soft, spicy or mild, chicken or steak…everyone loves tacos. On October 6, Baltimore will celebrate the fine food with the return of Baltimore Taco Fest, a massive festival dedicated to all things taco (and tequila…and nachos).
