VISITOR PARKING GUIDELINES:
Park between the lines. If your vehicle does not fit between the lines of a spot do not park there. Find another spot.
Vehicles taking up more than one parking space may be charged the maximum daily rate for all the spaces utilized. The added fee will be assessed at the exit podium and you will need to pay this charge before the gate will vend.
Yield to pedestrians. Your car is big and hard. Pedestrians are fragile. Once you park, you, too, will be a pedestrian.
Spaces have been set aside in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Maryland Motorist with Disabilities Do not park in these spaces unless you both qualify for and display a valid special parking placard or license plate.
Harbor Park Garage will not hesitate to contact the local authorities to report Americans with Disabilities Act parking violations.
Please be advised that, according to the State of Maryland, anyone “committing fraud or misrepresenting themselves when applying for or using a parking placard for people with disabilities is subject to a fine of up to $500. If disability conditions are not met, the plate/placards may be revoked.” If you are the type of person who thinks it is okay to take advantage of Americans with Disabilities regulations for which you do not qualify, please park elsewhere. We don’t want your business.
All vehicles parked in the facility must display a valid license plate and be legally registered. Unregistered vehicles may be towed and or ticketed at the owners’ expense.
If asked, please park your vehicle according to the direction of our parking attendants. They are there to help make this the best possible experience for all of our customers.
Please drive slowly (5 MPH or less) and safely, with your headlights on.
As a general rule of thumb, even when parking elsewhere, do not leave anything in your vehicle that you cannot afford to lose.
Specifically, when parking at Harbor Park Garage, be sure to remove all valuables from your vehicle. While we do our best to monitor and secure the parking garage, we are not liable for items stolen from your vehicle or damage done to your vehicle by third parties.
Motorcycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, bicycles, tricycles, hoverboards, electric bicycles, and similar modes of transportation are not allowed to be used in Harbor Park Garage.
Please be advised that we use License Plate Recognition at Harbor Park Garage. When you drive into the parking facility, a picture or video is taken of your license plate, and your license plate detail will be printed on the ticket.
If you pay, online, or in the lobby, the system associates your payment with your license place, and the gate should automatically open for you as you approach the exit. Misreads occasionally happen so, please have your ticket readily available and in your vehicle as you exit. We provide LPR to make your parking experience to get you on your way as quickly as possible. And to be honest, because of it being some pretty cool tech. But: Just because the gate opened automatically at the exit, does not mean you received free parking.
If you do not pay, next time you try to exit, the gate will not open and you will have to pay at the gate with a
credit card. All you will have achieved is slowing the line for the people behind you.
Did you really believe
that we would not think about this?
Please DO NOT park in in areas marked Prime areas during posted hours if you have not registered for PrimeParking. If you do, you may be charged an additional $10 per day on top of the regular rate for parking in our garage. The fine will be added to your total, and the exit gate will not vend until full payment is made by credit card at the exit podium.
Do not block access or park in VIP or Reserved parking spots. If so, your vehicle we be subject to towing, and you will be responsible for the towing charge in addition to paying for not less than the daily max rate parking rate.
Please note that we work hard to provide a clean, safe, and secure parking facility. If you damage, vandalize, or otherwise cause harm, you will be held responsible for all costs resulting from your actions.
We have a lovely bathroom in the parking office. If you are polite, we will be happy to let you use it. If you believe urinating in our garage, stairwells, elevators, or hallways or anywhere that is not a bathroom is a good idea; you will be subject to a cleaning fee of no less than $100 as well as prosecution to the full extent of the law.
We are a PCI DSS Level 1 Compliant operation.
